Australian star wins American Deathmatch Championship
Australian deathmatch superstar, Joel Bateman, has won the American Deathmatch Championship.
The veteran competitor, and co-founder of Australia's Deathmatch Downunder promotion, won the title at last nights ICW Pitfighter X10 event, which streamed live from Red Bank, Tennessee on IWTV.
Bateman will make his first defense of the championship tonight at ICW No Holds Barred 23, when he takes on the "Death Samurai" AKIRA. ICW NHB23 streams live on IWTV at 8pm EST tonight.
Bateman is also scheduled to compete against deathmatch legend Matt Tremont on Monday night at H2O Wrestling live on IWTV.

In dramatic and controversial fashion, Bear Bronson has won the IWTV Independent Wrestling World Championship, defeating reigning champion Ryan Clancy and contender Marcus Mathers in a triple threat match at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet in Cranston, Rhode Island.
