New South's HOSS Tournament streams live this March
The winner of IWTV's original series The Masked Wrestler - Genkai - will finally receive their IWTV Independent Wrestling Championship match on Saturday, March 6th in Hanceville, Alabama at New South's Heart Of The Southern Sixteen Tournament (HOSS) event. The title bout will take place on the second day of the two-day event. Both nights (3/5 and 3/6) will stream live on IWTV at 7:30pm CST/8:30pm EST.
Since the airing of The Masked Wrestler, a great deal of speculation has centered around the identity of Genkai, who remained masked at the conclusion of the series. At this time IWTV officials cannot confirm whether or not Genkai will reveal their identify before HOSS, at HOSS, or at all.
The title defense will be the 45th of WARHORSE's over 500-day long reign, and the third time he's put the championship on the line at New South.
The highly anticipated championship match adds excitement to an already huge HOSS Tournament lineup. Last year's HOSS helped solidify New South as one of the breakout independent wrestling promotions of 2020, with this year's tournament shaping up to be even bigger.
The field of sixteen for the 2021 HOSS tournament is as follows:
- Adam Priest
- Shean Christopher
- Nolan Edward
- Kevin Ryan
- Max The Impaler
- Colin Delaney
- Davey Boy Smith Jr.
- 2 Fly Ty
- O'Shay Edwards
- Matthew Justice
- Logan Creed
- Logan Easton LaRoux
- Manders
- Dillon McQueen
- Jaden Newman
- Kenzie Paige
In addition to the HOSS Tournament, a new episode of New South's Action Clash premiere's every Tuesday night at 7pm CST/8pm EST on IWTV.
