Top Beyond Star to get new name for "network pilot"
It won't just be Beyond Wrestling that gets a name change at the promotion's "network pilot" taping on March 1 in Melrose, Massachusetts.
IWTV News can confirm that Josh Briggs will be dropping his last name, and going simply by JOSH at the tapings.
The decision to rebrand the big man was made by the still unnamed General Manager and comes on the heels of the announcement that the promotion itself will be renamed Beyond Championship Wrestling for the "pilot."
A source close to the General Manager noted that the decision was made as part of a "broader strategic vision that aims to enhance the larger than life aspects of Beyond performers."
Tickets for Beyond Championship Wrestling are still available here.
