Beyond Wrestling "Network Pilot" to feature new General Manager role
Beyond Wrestling's scheduled "network pilot" taping on March 1 2020 in Melrose, Massachusetts will be historic in more ways than one, as for the first time ever a Beyond event will be presided over by a General Manager. The decision to create a General Manager position for the pilot comes at the request of the project's financial investors, but is welcomed by Beyond Wrestling owner Drew Cordeiro.
"I think it's a curious addition to the event," says Cordeiro. "I've been the sole producer of Beyond Wrestling for more than a decade, so I'm intrigued to see what Beyond Wrestling looks like through someone else's eyes, especially if they have television experience. I have to wear many hats day-of-show, so I'm not going to complain about having an extra hand help ensure things run smoothly."
It has not yet been confirmed who will be hired for the pilot's General Manager position.
Tickets for the historic taping go on sale this Friday, January 24, 2020 at noon EST.
