BREAKING: Independent Wrestling Champion Orange Cassidy Kicks Off The Collective Weekend

On Thursday, April 4 IWTV's Family Reunion kicks things off at The Collective in Jersey City, New Jersey. And the opening match will be for the Independent Wrestling Championship.

IWTV News can now confirm that Orange Cassidy will put the Independent Wrestling Championship on the line against the first man to hold that championship, Jonathan Gresham, in a European Rounds Match. The bout will open the show, which airs live here on IWTV at 12pm EDT.

Gresham, who is regarded by many as the best pure wrestler in the world, was the inaugural Independent Wrestling Champion having won the tournament to crown the first ever champ in October of 2017. If Gresham wins he will be the first man to hold the title twice. If Cassidy retains he will hold victories over both Gresham and the second IWTV Champion, and man he defeated for the belt, "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams.

The bout will be Cassidy's ninth defense of the championship.
