AIW returns to Cleveland with surprise filled double header
One of independent wrestling's top promotions, Absolute Intense Wrestling, returns to The Odean in Cleveland, Ohio for the first time in over a year this Thursday and Friday night, with both huge events streaming live on IWTV.
The two events - "Hello, Cleveland" on Thursday night and "Is This Something You Might Be Interested In?" on Friday night - begin at 7:30pm EDT and are mystery shows, with no matches or talent officially announced in advance for either event.
The long awaited homecoming for AIW, is the perfect time for a double header.
"With it being over a year since our last event in Cleveland, and restrictions in Ohio still in place, we wanted to give as much of our fan base as we could the opportunity to see us return under the current capacity restrictions," said AIW promoter John Thorne who also noted that the double header would give opportunities to more talent.
"Fans can expect two completely different lineups both nights," said Thorne adding that he has booked "some very big surprises from AIW’s past as well as some very exciting debuts."
"I’m just very excited to be booking a live event in our home venue again and I wanted to make it a memorable experience for not only our fans in attendance but the ones streaming on IWTV. I’m fired up!"
You can watch both live AIW events and their weekly Go For Broke series with your IWTV subscription.
